I'm an X308 owner but my dad recently purchased an 2017 F-Pace with the infamous 2.0d INGENIUM diesel engine - 180hp.

Now, I've read the horror stories about this engine... B U T.... is it true that he buys those "kits" I see around and he lets them install it,
he could solve somehow the big issues?

Is also the OIL PUMP to be changed with a new - revised one??

It has just 60.000 kms....

What do you suggest? KIT + new OIL PUMP?
Or something other than that??

you need to use all of the updated JLR parts only!
New stronger chains all of the guides, both tensioners and you will need the updated idler that is dampened.
