Buick, difficult to tell from these photos as it looks like you had the sun screen on the Pano Roof slid closed... did you tint the pano roof AND the Rear Hatch, or just the Rear Hatch

Screen may have been open...probably was...only the rear hatch was tinted.

18-20% tint pretty much blends in with the roof and everything else...

Looks awesome Buick. Who did the tint work on the car?

I have never had that dark of a tint. In Florida the legal tint is more than 28% front side windows and more than 15% back side windows and rear window.

Is it difficult to see out of the back window at night given the restricted view out of the rear window anyway?

Ricky Phillips @ Quality Techniques window tinting here in Marina near Monterey,he's always slammed and has done all my cars since the 2000 model year.

Lovemonet,
No issues seeing out, seeing in is the difficult part...and your eyes will eventually get used to almost anything.

We do 20% in Vegas, still waiting to see if the Jag roadster needs it, made a big difference on Ghibli and looks great.

Who here regularly drives with dark polarized sunglasses at night? Because that's what this tint forces you to do?

Oh and there are lighter tints which will reject more heat. Show me the specs of this one and I will show you one which rejects more heat while maintaining more visibility.

That's really a moot point because I tinted it for the look more than anything else,I rarely drive at night...matter of fact I haven't driven this car at night yet...but seeing out will not be an issue.

Peripheral vision at night will definitely be an issue. I'm hoping you are saying you are aware of that and plan to work around that with extra diligence. If you genuinely believe that it isn't a problem then that's a shame.

Again...I'll have no issues with it unless they make me remove it and then I'll just go a shade lighter until we're good...vision might be an issue for you but it won't be for me.

It's never an issue for me because I put safety before appearance.

However I often find some idiot with limo tints trying to side swipe into my lane because he can't see out of his side window. Obviously I know that's not people like you since as you said earlier you don't drive your car at night.

I hear you and yeah...those idiots wouldn't be me because when I drive, that's all I do.

I just sold a '02 Accord EXL with just 62k on it and the front headlamps were as clear as glass...I can probably count on one hand how many times the headlights were on,lol.
