Should be an interesting auction, first one to appear on BaT that I've seen, here is the link:

BaT says they don't reveal if there's a reserve, how much it is, or if the bids have exceeded it.

Think the final sale price is going to be somewhat depressing for owners....

Edit to add: Just checked on cars.com and V8S models start at $46k with under 30k miles, and there's a CPO car on for $48,980 with 24k miles.

What's the trade bid on a 14 V8S now - high 30's??

Once prices hit 20s I will buy couple and stash away for a decade or so. F-type will be collectible.

It will probably take a decade before the prices hit the 20's.

Its really nice but it some might prefer the Performance Seats over the Sport Seats. What would it cost to swap them out if the car can be had for a decent price?

New ones from JLR would cost squillions but used ones from a wrecker/breaker shouldn't be too bad if you could find them close by and not have to pay for shipping.

I’ll have to ask my dealer how many squillions.

As much as they are reported to weigh, that may only come out to $5/lb.

😱

Surely they’re not 500# apiece❗️

MSRP on the seat covers are roughly $1700 for the back and $1400 for the bottom. The shells is like $1600 ish. That's before any of the misc padding hardware, and trim pieces. You probably save some money from sites like JLR Nevada, but it's still going to be prohibitively expensive. After market solutions would be better option for the money.

Also heard they need to be "coded" to the car VIN or something related to airbag coding - can't remember specifics.

13K miles with 3 owners. I know that these are oftentimes not DD, but still.
