Default 2016 Suedecloth Options

The 2016 order guide does not show "Suedecloth Upper Environment" as a package which can be ordered independent of the seat selection. 2015 does offer this as well as the 2016 UK order site. The dealer does not know what can be done at this point. My questions are the following:

1. How can I get Jaguar to reintroduce the suedecloth upper environment package code to the US 2016 order guide?

2. Is it possible to order the full suedecloth interior but have the seats optioned to be in red leather?

3. Worse case scenario would be ordering just the red leather interior and having the headliner changed to suedecloth at the dealer. Consider changing out the red door panels for suedecloth ones at the dealer as well.

Any thoughts, comments, or other feedback would be appreciated.

I would say you're out of luck as far as this one goes. Jaguar isn't gonna change the order guide just for you i'm afraid. They eliminated a lot of options for the sake of production costs, so the dealer route is really your only option.

He can also call the Jaguar Concierge number listed on the website, as suggested in another thread today. Sometimes early order guides for new MYs have mistakes and omissions.

2016?

Either PD's delivery delay is normal for the U.S., or "Model Years" are less closely coupled to the actual year than I had hitherto realised.

It seems to be more of a JLR thing, where MY seems more meaningless than for the majority of brands. Perhaps they are trying out a strategy to be first and believe that will stimulate additional sales. It does seem odd to stop taking orders for 15's when we're still in 2014.

In the U.S., the norm is that the next model year vehicles start being delivered to dealerships in late summer/early fall. Of course, there are exceptions.
