Hello Jaguar family, I bought an F-Type that had been in front end collision, so i had to replace the A/C condenser, i recently had the system filled with refrigerant but cannot get the compressor to pull in. The dashboard has the correct temp reading which im assuming is external temp, im not sure how to check for cabin/in car temp but i was told it is most likely the issue. I apologize if a question like this has been asked already but i did not find anything to my model specific. Any help or suggestions for troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated

 

who did the ac work? who filled it? what is the static pressure on the system now?

 

I put the front together and i took the car to get filled and tested at an A/C Specialist. He told me that it passed pressure test and he was able to fill it normally. I do not know what the static pressure is right now but i will check.

 

Even a normal no accident f type would have a failed AC so don't worry about it. Mine had the line replaced and the valve replaced and recharged. still don't work.
