I have no such lag with the MT, so I would still suspect the AT programming.

It’s very frustrating - if I’m in Dynamic mode and sport-shift with TracDSC on, that AT should be ready for fun times at all times.

Was hoping it was something the VAP tune improved, but appears not. Unless others with the VAP tune and AT say otherwise.

my sense right now is to put a little Boostane in the car to ensure at least 93-94 octane and to turn stability and traction completely off. The tune and pulley seem to upset the computer. Again it’s just my theory but added 90hp has the stability and traction management trying to “tame” this beast without success lol I’ve never had any issues with a “lazy” transmission. I really enjoy the ZF actually!

To test this theory one could just turn off traction control to see if the hesitation goes away.

Ok, Update* Ignore the past few posts. Got to the bottom of this. The car "surging'' when at 40-50% throttle in 3rd gear 4th gear and 5th (only around 4200-4800rpm) are tune related. It drives like OEM with added 90hp lol otherwise. When I mean "surging" let's say you are progressively applying throttle at around 50% foot down at 4200rpm the car acts like I all of a sudden am applying lets say +- 80-100% throttle. Chris over at VelocityAP said it's Load Command and it commands WOT because load jumps. It'll be sorted out no problem! Chris is an awesome guy! Other than that this F-Type R is amazing. I took it for a drive this morning to get to the bottom of that random issue and the car just PULLS. I will share 100-200km/h times soon! The tune and pulley have really changed this car. It has made it a BEAST of an English Car! I'm really enjoying it.

Chris had to adjust the throttle response on mine as well. I would have thought he would now be programming that into all of the tunes by this time, but perhaps the issue is vehicle specific.

Sounds like you have the "turbo simulation" tune!
