Yes, there are a ton of tech upgrades. If you look at the Jaguar site, you can see all of the driver assistance packages. Almost all of them were introduced in 2018. The infotainment system is also much better.

 

I had XE for 2 weeks with newer infotainment, while better still not great.

 

i was hoping the 2018 cars would have gotten the new 10" widescreen

but alas it's just another s/w patch over existing h/w - i too have used it in a loaner car, the gui looks fresher but it's still a poor alternative to the new 10" screen
