What size is the battery?

I thought I was a series 49. However that battery is 3” longer than my original.

will it fit?

I am having no luck finding the size!

help!

 

The Duralast I got from Autozone is listed as group H8 and also group 49.

I just measured and the battery in there now is the same height and width but, 3” longer. Is the base that adjustable? I have not taken the old battery out. Did jag cheap out here? Hat to find it too long.

mine is a 2018.

 

The original battery in my car was a H7. 800 starting amps. The bracket has two sets of holes to allow a longer battery.

some folks reported using the H8. It is a little longer 900 starting amps.

the H7 is 850 starting amps. Di Hard.

as others have noted. The battery was less than 30% charged.

be careful. Batteries are not returnable. I was afraid to buy the H8.

 

Ah. It sounds like they used a smaller battery in the P300? It should need a bit less current to turn it over.
