I got the ordering guide for 2020. 6MT is officially gone. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. The R is receiving suspension bits from the SVR.

"Manual Transmission models are being discontinued for 2020MY.
? F-TYPE R is receiving an enhanced chassis sourced from the F-TYPE SVR. The vehicle damping has been reduced by 24% at the lower damping velocities (up to 0.3m/s) while overall capacity is increased by up to 30%. To further enhance F-TYPE R capability, the vehicle is also receiving the SVR rear upper ball joint with modifications to the rear knuckle and upper control arm."

I find that interesting because it narrows the gap between R and SVR even further, while MSRP stays the same.

SVR therefore has 25hp advantage, titanium exhaust, cosmetic changes to front fascia and side vents, the active spoiler, a suede dash, and diamond pattern leather.

 

I don't care for the diamond pattern leather (a trend I think started by Audi) so I'll take the "R" please Bob...
