Default Adaptive Headlights

So here is a simple question, if you want to update your headlights to the cornering lights, is it just a simple swap of the headlights or is there more to it. Referring to the non LED headlights.

I thought all non-LED (ie HID) F-Type headlights had the cornering lights?

Afraid not, mine are non AFS headlights. If you look at the headlights the AFS ones have an additional light on the inner side of the headlight unit.

you should be able to check if they are from topix or if you have the original supply build sheet for the vehicle. I know my 2016 V6s they have adapt on cornering but do not have the auto high beam function. But all hid lamps by law in the EU haver to be self levelling and have headlamp washers. So this have to have up and down auto adjustment motors so I cant see why jaguar would use 2 different lamp units on such a low build quantity vehicle

trust me, there are AFS and non AFS headlights, mine are non AFS, on a 2016 R. The question is what is required to retrofit. You only got cornering lights as part of the visibility pack, which had AHB and heated windscreen.

The vision pack in '16R came with AHB, cornering lamps, front sensors, side sensors (blind spot monitor) , rear sensors w/traffic detection, rear camera and auto dimming door mirrors, but did not come with the heated windshield. That only came that year as a separate option. The other models had to opt for the "Premium + Vision Pack" to get the visibility features.

Edit: I see Paul is in the UK. Offerings were probably different.
