2024 Question
I saw references in some articles around the special edition final year f-type having suspension updates. They made it sound like it was on the final year car only, but I remember hearing that the new generation in general has revised rear knuckles and other tweaks that make it handle better than the previous gen car.
Are these articles wrong or misleading? Is the 2024 the same as all the new gen cars in this respect? Or are there tweaks specific to the final 2024 year? The latter seems unlikely to me, despite what the articles seem to suggest.

Okay, that's what my brain said to itself, so I guess it's typical misleading spin etc...
Here's the article linked right off of the main page of this site:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/article...aguar-f-types/
"The chassis of the F-TYPE 75 and R 75 is further enhanced by rear knuckles made from light, stiff aluminum die castings, which, together with larger wheel bearings deliver absolute precision control of the tire contact patch, translating to even more connected steering feel. For the R 75, this key attribute is optimized still further thanks to revised upper ball joints which significantly increase camber and toe stiffness. Both models also feature a rear electronic active differential (EAD) to optimize traction."
I think it was another Car and Driver article that gave similar vibes.

Yah think? I know for sure that the changes talked about definitely are a new gen car thing at least, and that the first gen car does not have the changes for sure. The SVR I can't speak to at all though. Perhaps yer right and the better setup from the first gen SVR went forward to the new gen in some form. Sounds reasonable.
Seems to me that maybe just the 75 models (if at all), since you have to pay extra for those... but not the regular models. I've never heard of any manufacturer making any changes on the final year of production of an outgoing model.
