32 MPG!
Yes, I haven't reset my base V6 gauge in about 3K miles, comprised of 2/3 highway and 1/3 city in my 60 mile RT commute. The average is 22.3.
Just did the calculation and got 23.1 mpg on that tank. And that was with my auxiliary peddling to help keep up with Jay. We're on the way home at a leisurely pace, in Michigan now with snow squalls in western NY, Ontario, and Michigan yesterday. Back to getting 29-31 mpg average each tank, driving sanely, mostly. Saw a sign in Ontario which said, "$15,000 fine and loss of license if caught speeding 30 km/hr over limit." Another sign in Michigan says, "$7500 fine and 15 years in jail for hitting/injuring a construction worker in work zone." Ugh! Those were firsts for me.

I was indeed surprised to find my fuel economy at similar numbers for those tank fills. Those escapades obviously represented a small percentage of the distance travelled on that tank.
This is no Photoshop job. Here are the particulars. Wifey is driving, this run is on US 23 from Bay City to Alpena, MI., about 130 miles along the west shore of Lake Huron. The speed limit is 55mph except through the small towns, smooth road, no wind, little traffic, nice gentle curves, few hills; took the photo in Alpena where we stopped for lunch. Then I took over driving stopping only in Mackinaw City and paying the bridge toll; the computer read 36.1mpg upon arriving in Escanaba, MI. But then, I wasn't following Jay either.
Jay Levine Detrimental To Gas Mileage
By Jay Levine
Studies have suggested, some say proven, that following Jay Levine in his 2015 Jaguar V6S F-Type produces significantly lower gas mileage than previously experienced. One F-Type Forum member, briefed on the matter, remarked "it's like riding on the coat-tails of the devil". Jay Levine did not return calls to comment, he was going too fast.

But look at the distance and the average speed
