Default 400Hz Sound - Engine Bay

Hello there!

I've been hearing a sound (350-400Hz) for a few seconds upon switching MY16 6spd off. At first I thought it was from the DTR/headlights, as the sound seemingly stops at the exact same time as the DTR relays switching off, but it is completely random and doesn't happen every time I switch off.

Does anyone have an explanation for this? It might be a dumb question, but I have never heard a similar sound from any of my other cars, and the sporadic occurrences has got me dumbfounded on what it could be!

It's fairly loud, and I have even had some people ask what the sound was. At this point, with 2 months left on the warranty, I might be reaching a bit for things to get fixed.

I don’t think so. There’s something else going on there, but I never figured it out. Not to worry, it’s normal. To me it sounds like a servo motor of some kind.

I've heard it too. Agree, sounds like a servo motor.
