I am not a calculator, but I would think the answer is yes, and sub 11 sec 1/4 mile, also yes.

It cannot be calculated.
0-60 depends on a lot of factors besides maximum horsepower.
Traction, weight, torque and power curve, etc.

There is a huge difference between on-pedal performance in a car and the marketing that goes into bhp numbers.

I think its going to be very hard to get there (under 3) without some sort of launch control which the ZF tranny doesnt allow. I can not do under 3 in my RS7 with 700 crank hp (tuned) and 700 tq (much more than a tuned F type) but then again it weighs more than the Jag and it has the ZF tranny. My best way to launch this car is brake boost and let go but its not as optimal as non tq converter tranny.

I would put a guess (not empirical) of circa 3.2 with the AWD and the mods.

With my recently departed 991 Turbo S, I could rip 2.6 to 2.8 zero to 60 launches over and over via its "easy to use" launch control and pdk.

Whatttttttt!!! The 991TTS is gone! What were you thinking?

That would be the number two car in my stable following the 458.

I wasnt driving the 991 enough... I needed the jag for brutal applications on daily level- the Black Series is a keeper due to uniqueness- The RS7 for 4 doors- and the R8 V10... I dont know why but it sounds waaaaaaaaay better than the Pcar and speed is but one part of my needs.

Now that the F Type has a AWD variant, I would bet a tuned one would be real close if not below 3 sec to 60.

I agree. Car&Driver already got the R to 60mph in 3.5 sec. I think it'll get to at least 3 sec. w/o a tune with the all wheel grip.

Isn't that with a rolling start though? I believe that is how they always get their faster than average 0-60 times.

UK Configurator quotes 3.9s for the AWD R Coupe, vs. 4s for the RWD R Coupe.

For comparison, the AWD V6S Coupe is slower to 60 than the RWD (4.9s vs. 4.8) but quite a bit quicker than the manual (which takes 5.3s).

That 3.9 sec is Jaguar's "conservative" number. Most reviews showed the R coupe between 3.5-3.8 for 0-60. I could see the AWD R cutting a 3.2 in a ideal situation.
