Welcome.

Anything is possible, but whether it is worth the $$ or associated issues I seriously doubt it.

The body management, engine management, etc, modules would be very different between the 2 transmissioned vehicles,

I remember having to have the ECU on the V12 "tricked" to accept the manual trans, and that ECU is one dumb sucker when compared to what we have today.

Welcome to the forum the whittys,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Anything is possible given time, money and determination!

Follow Norri's link in post #2 to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Thanks very much for your help. Just a thought. I really like my Jag and will be happy with the Auto. If I want Manual I will look around for a manual version
