I gotta say, applaud your efforts but a 600hp car is going to have a short shelf life and I have a stage 1 v6 tune.

What makes you think that? Just curious the where the concern comes from?

Depends on how you treat it.

He may mean in general, since the same engine making 300hp or 600hp experiences more cylinder pressure making 600hp. More cylinder pressure is more wear, all else being equal. Now if driven differently, we could make the same 600hp engine outlast the 300hp one.

We've partnered with Jokerz Performance to bring you some comprehensive porting & tuning packages for the 3.0L Engines. Our initial research from bolting on one of their CNC ports showed some moderate gains, but with additional tuning & development work on the dyno and the street we unlocked a ton more.

558BHP on Pump Fuel. 598BHP on E85. And 612BHP with our carbon intake & V8 MAF upgrade. We'll be demonstrating this performance in the real world soon. Dyno graphs are all on the website to review.

before you think of increasing the bhp of your F-Type 3 litre V6 to 600 bhp remember the extra strain it will put onto the crankshaft, con rods and also the transmission, at low rpm it will be fine but not when its topping out at 6500 rpm, .your F-Type will need a larger coolant radiator and oil cooler also but this will be part of the package..the cost for this modification will very expensive of course..good luck and enjoy your Jaguar F-type as I do with mine also 🇬🇧

It's not wrong to say that there is more strain put on certain components. In cylinder pressure is higher, load on individual rods becomes higher. All true. However, when modifying the V6, it's important to remember that this is fundamentally a V8 block without the two rear bores punched out. So for example, the crank is essentially the same as a V8 crank. Your transmission is a ZF8HP70, same as the V8. We have not seen any problems yet with the transmission as far as 750BHP & 700ft/lbs on the V8. So this is nowhere near what the transmission can't handle and not a huge amount more than a stock V8.
