That is beautiful. I think you should buy it and drive it to the Lobster Run!

And a hell of a good price, but I'm afraid it would take some work to get street legal.

She's a beauty, that's for sure. I say GO FOR IT, not that you need my encouragement or are you subject to, I'm quite certain, peer pressure*.

*Then again, maybe you are...you did post it here for others to see and, surely, offer their opinions. Let's start a poll: who wants Foosh to buy it? Count me in.

LOL . . . Actually, I posted it because there are far better candidates here than me. Let me see . . . some guy named Zach would be THE perfect candidate to own and serve as caretaker for this beauty.

My track days are behind me, and this car deserves track time. With that power, set-up, and weight (2200 lbs), it would be an absolute blast, as is vintage racing.

Depending on your age - and I'm guessing we're roughly the same - MOST THINGS ARE BEHIND YOU. Which is certainly not to say we [all] shouldn't be excited and looking forward to our future, whatever that may bring. Including, another Jaguar.

But...I do get your point.

Oh I know . . . I'm a bigger "kid" than ever when it comes to getting exciting about new toys and new experiences. I simply meant I've done the "race car thing" and gotten it out of my system.

Still, I when I saw that ad today, it did tempt me for about an hour. 10 years ago, I would have already lined up a friend on the west coast to go take a close look or booked an airline reservation.

I was in Emeryville for Thanksgiving weekend. I'm available to go test drive whenever you're interested. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it!

Thanks TBERG, for the generous offer. You clearly have the quals. Like I said, if it were 10 years ago, I'd have you signed up and on the way.

I don't want it unless the Just Drive App works properly.

So true, but I really don't have time for what would be exclusively a track car for use in vintage racing events. Nonetheless, I'm still meditating on it as I am on holiday in the Florida Keys.

I am envious!

Is it bayside somewhere in Key Largo, or am I mistaken?

I thought I recognized it. My wife and I have spent most of our Holidays over the last 12 years in Key Largo - last time in May this year.

The view from Snook's Bayside is rather similar to your picture, and we have also spent a lot of time on the water with a boat rented from Chris at Key Largo Watersports (at Pilot House Marina).

Enjoy your time there. We will keep coming back :-)

Yes, Snook's is essentially next door. The water here is beautiful as always with healthy grass and coral right up to the shoreline.
