Arne,

Thanks for that . . . it's a stunningly gorgeous video, my wife just watched too, and is now ready to head out the door with her snorkeling gear.

I remember you posting at least parts of this some months ago, but had forgotten it was Key Largo. Did you use a GoPro Hero 4?

Thanks Foosh. The one you have seen earlier was from last years Holiday (2014), but they are rather similar and recorded from many of the same reefs. We even rented the same boat and house this year as we did last year I edited the 2015 video and put it on Youtube, just a cople of weeks ago.

We used a GoPro Hero 3 black addition (if my memory serves me well...), and we bought it from the dive shop (Divers Direct?) just south of Holiday Inn at MM100.

Have fun with the snorkeling!

As soon as I saw the description I knew where it must be. I regularly check their listings. I work about two or three miles from there. I could hop over at lunch and take a look (and more pictures, if you'd like) but expect a test drive would not be as simple as tossing me the keys.

The shop where it is, Fantasy Junction, is highly regarded. The description is surely as accurate as it can be. The owner of the shop is a friend of a friend, although I have not met him.

Steve,

I would absolutely love to see more pictures. For whatever reasons, that car really intrigues me.

I'll see about popping over there. I'll check their holiday hours. They also have a few more conventional E Types.

Oh, and no need to hedge on "whatever reasons." Might as well say that for whatever reasons, Sofia Vergara catches my eye. We understand here. Really, we do. I wish it were within my reach, but it's not even close. With Sears Point less than an hour away and Laguna Seca less than two, I'd find some extra "reasons" that didn't involve drop-dead-gorgeous.

I just looked at the site for Fantasy Junction and the car isn't listed there anymore. I know it was there last week, so I looked in the "sold" section. Looks like it went on 12/18:

1963 Jaguar E-Type 3.8 Low Drag by RS Panels

Lots more pictures there. Maybe it sold to the one running the listing you posted and they're trying to flip it quickly. I can't remember what FJ had it listed for.

Thanks so much for checking. I'm not surprised it sold quickly given the quality of the work and the specs.

I think you misunderstand. I saw the listing at Fantasy Junction, but it shows as sold from there. The listing you posted is somewhere else, in the same area, and posted after FJ notes the sale. I think it *is* for sale, but by someone who just bought it.

The extra pictures from the link I provided may help out, because the new owner seems to have skimped on the pictures in his ad.

I did notice. The listing I posted here was from Winding Road and was published on 12/16. They limit the number of pictures allowed. I'm on their email list, and all their ads show about the same number of pictures. If you click the "buy" button on the ad in my OP, it takes you to the FJ site now showing sold on 12/18.

I thought the Winding Road listing started right after the Fantasy Junction one ended, but it's been a helluva week and my attention to detail may have been lacking. Or, perhaps, my attention to detail has been focused where it is needed for the job that provides for my car payments :/

Fantasy Junction has some really nice stuff. This is not where you go for your projects. Here, you'll find things that are already sorted, whether for concours, driving, or track.

I know the feeling.

Sorry for the late edit, but I just went back and clicked the "buy" button on the WR ad, and it took me to the same FJ ad you posted now showing sold.

In other words, none of us end up happy. Someone does, but it's not one of us

There just isn't much with wheels more beautiful than that.

So true . . . and in stripped-down, bare-metal, racing form, it's even more beautiful to me.
