It's also my understanding that once a car cracks the 10 barrier, virtually all tracks these days require a full roll cage. However, I think you can do it once, before they pull you off the track.

That's certainly true here; a cage and other safety gear. Originally Posted by Foosh

I am terrified also that a v6 was 4k lbs without fuel and passenger!
They aren't that heavy; our current "weigh scale" thread has them coming in at the 3600 - 3700 lb mark for the V6 RWD.Originally Posted by Chris starko

You must have seen my weight slip, which showed 3920 lbs. w/o reading the accompanying text. The truck scale I used required that I be in the car for the weigh-in.
Subtracting out my weight, and fuel, my base V6 convertible, AT w/ no options came in at 3667 lbs.

A 3100lb Z06 takes about 800hp to go 9.95 so you'll need at least 1000hp which means a major engine with parts no one makes. You'll need drag slicks to get down the track which will mean tranny and full drive train updates so in conclusion you'll never make 9s without putting a 100k plus into the car. Choose another car to go 9s in.

Why are so many people fooled, viezu do not even have a software programmer within the business. The only person who could write software is now running a different business due to differences of opinions with the new owners Paul Busby and Linda Busby whole stole paramount from me.
