suspension upgrade 1997 xj6

just taking out my 1997 xj6 and i want to upgrade the suspension, it rides real rough... i want a real comfortable ride, new england roads are not so smooth, want to take the edge off.. any suggestions for replacing/upgrading suspension.. not too concerned with cost.. just want a smooth ride

Your 1997 XJ6 is known as an X300.

Much more modern and very different than those Series cars in here.

I suggest a quickie repost in the X300 section will get answers related to that car.
