Default 92184900 Gm diff fluid to replace BOT 720

Good day!! I live in Canada and I am having a really hard time finding the recommended BOT 720 diff oil for my LSD. I know the general consensous is to stay with the OEM spec, and idealy I would, however that doesn't seem to be an option.

I read somewhere that GM 92184900 Is just repackaged BOT 720. Has anyone here had any experiences with using this or any other equivelent spec oils in their diffs?

Not sure about the GM, But I purchased the Motul 300 LS 75/W90 from Pelican Auto parts ($26.00) if this helps. This is supposed to be a direct replacement for the BOT 720 and other members here have used this. Make sure you get the "LS" it's for the Limited Slip if this is what you have.

Have you been running it for any length of time?

Why not just buy it from your local dealer? (the same fluid but from the Land Rover price list may be cheaper - it is identical fluid).

My local dealer is 3 1/2 hours away unfortunately. Its all good, after further investigation I am going to go with the Motu 300 Ls as suggsted by the previous poster. To be honest, after all the diff problems and premature fluid degredation issues I have been reading about, Im not sure I want the OEM oil anyway.
