Default about that blind spot?

do i need to explain which one?

what have we all discovered about helping cure the blind spot?.
is there a blind spot mirror of choice which members have found or any other methods?
i tried the "correct" way of adjusting the side mirrors but that has not helped much.
luckily for me some other road users have been paying attention this month... lol

Can we assume that your particular car is not equipped with the blind-spot monitoring system (in the mirrors)?
With this system I have found no visibilty issues at all in my coupe.

Well, my 100% reliable cure is to put the roof down. May not be as easy for you.

I've never found an issue with blind spots - in fact when I drove a loaner that had the monitor I found it really distracting.

I've got blindspot monitoring as an option, but I also added two of the 2" round convex blindspot mirrors just inboard of the blindspot icon on each mirror. They work great.

+1.
Although mine came with BSM standard.
This just reminded me you can turn it off in Settings so I just went out to the car and turned it off, why didn't I do that years ago!

I have my mirrors set the correct way according to Tom & Ray but situational awareness is a huge factor as well.
I worry more about the others I share to road with when I’m driving the Jag. It’s low and quick and I can fill holes in traffic at an alarming rate. I’m glad for the exhaust button so they can hear me coming.

Honestly it doesn't bother me in this car. Much better than my buddies 2013 Camaro I used to drive from time to time. I was still thinking of putting those convex 2" mirrors on though, for safety's sake.

I've found more exotic cars like the BMW i8 and Audi R8 feel like a Honda Accord in outward visibility as compared to my F-type. Jaguar designed this car for beauty, not practicality. Adjust your mirrors, reverse carefully, and stop thinking about it!

Blind spot monitoring is must-have feature on F-type. Few times I was caught in a rain and had to drive with top up I was very glad that the car was equipped with it. Most of the time, top down = no blind spots.

With the mirrors set properly, the only blind spot I have on the coupe is the driver's side A-Pillar. I've damn near squashed a pedestrian because of it.

Agreed. Especially the base of the A-pillar for people with a low seating position (me)...

Agreed, I don't have any rear-facing blind spots with the mirrors adjusted properly, just the thick A pillars. . Blind spot monitoring is there, also, just in case, and has once pointed out a dummy driving with no headlights in the dark that I didn't see.

Me too! On both counts! The local foot/bicycle path is famous for people popping out in front of moving vehicles.

One of my commute roads has two uphill right-hand bends that the rear view mirror blocks as well. I find myself doing a "bob and weave" for both cases to look around the visual obstacles.

From memory when Clarkson reviewed the coupe he made a point about the blind spot problem where you are at an angled t-intersection - essentially where the angle of your road is fairly acute and you have to look back over your shoulder to see oncoming traffic. At a particular angle it is virtually impossible to see cars approaching on because they blocked by the c pillar, and if the traffic is moving quickly you dont want to take a risk (cross traffic detection would help, my car has BLIS but not cross traffic). In his review, Clarkson had it that the car was at the intersection for hours. I thought it was overdone, but then having been in that exact situation - albeit only once or twice in nearly 5 years of owing the car - I now understand the point. If I had to drive a route every day that had that kind of intersection, I think I would be getting rid of the car.

I've solved the problem at the acute angle intersections by coming to a stop at a right angle to the oncoming traffic. I'm certain drivers behind me think I'm turning right and have mistakenly turned on the left turn signal. For you it would be opposite.

this is exactly my point.
i am a careful driver (generally) but have had several near misses which luckily the "other" drivers quick braking saved an accident .
ive had the 2" round mirrors before and i will try them on this car
