Default Air line in the engine compartment

Hello everyone,

Today I noticed an air line that did not look original, but was retrofitted at some point.
It starts on the right in the engine compartment on a valve, goes along the parapet and the climate line and disappears height wheel run.

Could this be the vacuum line for the flap control?

Thanks for your answers ;-)

Frank

It's the brake booster vacuum line, and yes it does look as though a crack or split has been patched up with blue tape.
Maybe best to very carefully remove that tape and see what is under it.

Hello, just for your information.

It's the vacuum line for the exhaust flaps.

@OzXFR, The blue tape was just a marker.
I must have taken a bad picture.
