Alignment woes - right pull
I’ve been having a hell of a time getting my car aligned. I’ve had two alignments in the past 3 months and the car constantly pulls to the right. I have to keep the steering wheel cocked slightly left. It’s driving me mad! Is this normal for an f-type?
That's the bearing the right wheel spins on. But I don't know the mileage or if it's used mainly for short trips or not. If the car is driven a lot the bearing would have failed completely by now. You could jack up the right front and spin and wiggle the wheel.

What did the shop say when you expressed your concerns ? Even low tire pressure can cause that. What did they say when you brought it back the second time ?

Tire pressures all good. Different shops.
this is the correct and most likely issue for a pull not a drift. Drifts can be fixed with alignment, pulls are not. A drift is when you let go of the wheel and the car slowly "drifts" into the another lane. A pull is almsot always a tire in front and you let go of the wheel and turn on the turn signal because youre changing lanes. As lance said, swap front tires side to side

Drift... existed before the new tires.
does not matter, new tire can do this as well just like having high road force from out of roundness. and directional tires are even worse if they are directional.
In any event, just to confirm it’s not the tires, swap the front wheels. Also check for ease of wheel rotation while it’s up in the air.

Have you tried moving the rear wheels to the front and front to the rear. If they are directional make sure you criss - cross them. Drive it to the alignment shop and tell them it pulls to the right. Really dude; I don't know why you are on here asking that question when you have trained techs in the business around you. They can drive the car and handle the problem because they are right there. We are not.

For swapping front/rear - what about the stagger? As I recall the various oem staggers range from 245/275 to 255/295 front rear, all with staggered offsets. Maybe it can be done... but it would look bizarre.

I'm just getting very skeptical about his story. The technicians are there near his home who can drive the car and diagnose it. All we can do is throw more paint on the wall. If I took my car in for a alignment and discovered the right pull on the way home I would return to the shop and get it sorted out. They would not send him out without taking care of it.
