All Season Tires
I'm very impressed by the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06. Have these on our Range Rover Sport (year round) and one of the MINIs (winter only). Tried the Michelin A/S 3 before. The A/S 3 were brilliant for the first 10K miles, then slowly began to get noisy and loose grip after that.

Actually, +3 as I have those fabulous tires on 3 of my 4 cars. Indeed, I love them so much that I keep them on all year-round (in spite of having my OEM's stored in my garage, on their original OEM wheels) and that includes driving throughout the winter.
So...they get my resounding endorsement (and, no, I don't work for Continental Tire).

Interesting as I was just looking at the Volvo forum getting ready to replace my wife's V60 T6 RD tires and they hate the Conti's and love the Michelin PS A/S 3+.
I think this is like asking whether you like a Ford or Chevy pickup, too much brand loyalty. With tires people agree that run flats are worse than any other option and A/S tires are better in winter than Summer performance tires, but worse than Winter tires. Other than that, I have not observed that tire recommendations are worth very much.

Sometimes it is simply different expectations between drivers of different types of vehicles...old example, but I know a few who rode with me in an NA and made a comment about the 'noise' from the Azenis. For me, the tradeoff was the 'stickiness' those tires offered me. And, at the time and at less than $60 a corner, it was well worth putting up with a 'noisy' tire that might not make it 10K miles.
