Suggested tires for 2003 x-type
Firestone is suggesting Drive Guard or Serenity Plus. I've seen cons on both of those. Size is 205/55R16. Priorities are safety, low noise, price, tread wear.
Need a good all season tire for the U.S. southern region.
Also saw the Milestar MS932 for a very good price and mostly good reviews. Anyone familiar with that tire?

I had good luck with the Falken ZE950's on my car. I had 2 sets of these tires on my car. The one set lasted about 50,000 miles and the second set was on the car when I sold it. Gave me the traction I needed in the rain and did well in the snow too. On dry pavement, when I hit the brakes hard, anything on the seat ended up on the floor after hitting the dash. Now, I will admit that I was running slightly oversized tires on my car (235/45R17's as I recall). So, I had a bit more rubber on the road than you currently have. I was getting all 4 tires installed for around $500. Tires Plus has the tires for $95 each right now in the 205/55R16 size.

Been using Kumhos since I changed the original set of Contis which I never liked and were expensive. ECSTA LX PLATINUM Grand Touring All-Season on now, but seems they've stopped making the 225/45R17's. Will most likely go with another set of Kumhos though. They look good, last long and are reasonably priced.
