Aluminum Vs Glass roof weight difference
Hello, does anyone here know weight difference between Aluminum and Glass Roof. I'm assuming glass is a bit heavier? Thanks!

agreed, doubt you would notice weight difference. Do you think it could be possible Glass would weigh Less as there is no insulation ect compared to aluminum?

No way. It's a really big, thick piece of glass. An aluminum panel and the associated sound deadening material weighs very little.
The only info I've seen on this from Jag is that the CF roof is 20% lighter than the Aluminum roof. I agree with you that the glass roof has to be substantially heavier, maybe even double.
