At 6'1", there's a range of comfy driving positions. It's easier to get out of the car using some of the higher ones.
Also, the non-adjustable exhaust appears to be louder than the adjustable one on the quiet setting, while the stock 170W sound system can play distortion-free at my personal pain threshold - and is still at only half volume (but turn the bass down a bit before trying).
Foosh, did you find the ride quality changed over time, or does it remain 'busy'?

I haven't noticed any changes in suspension behavior, but I've only just rolled past 2K on the clock. It's still quite firm, but that's the way I like it.
That's an interesting theory on the standard exhaust, which I also find surprisingly loud. I hadn't considered that the std system may default to "loud."
I also agree that the base sound system is distortion-free at my pain threshold. Like you, I found the optimal bass setting is on the low-end of mid-range.

In multiple track instructions, I've heard them comment on how most people jack their seat heights up high. The comment is usually "I can't see the hood if I'm down low" and then the response is "why exactly do you need to see the hood, you should be looking at the horizon, way down the road."
Maybe your seat was just jacked up high and you didn't change it, but as everyone else said - I'm over 6' and fit fine in the roadster (with the top up too) and in the coupe, and in the coupe with a helmet on.

In a tight corner, you should be focused on where you need to be to exit that corner most efficiently. You should certainly never be focused upon the road directly in front of you. The same applies to street driving for defensive reasons.

Definitely too small
I'm 6.5 and regrettably this car is way too small for me. There is just enough room for my legs but the seats don't recline past that ridiculously tight bulkhead in the back. I actually talked to the dealer about modifying the back but the roll bar pillars are right behind you which would barely give another 2 inches even if one was to remove the speaker which is literally right behind the seat. I wish they made the trunk smaller to accommodate bigger boys. The trunk barely fits 2 golf bags as it is. It's a real shame. If this car was just a bit larger I'd be buying it tomorrow. Have you heard the new 2015 R type. It's **** on wheels.
