Maybe in 50 years? As of now, probably the opposite. The early produced models tend to have more kinks as they work out issues. I think that's why there are more issues (from what I've seen on the forum) in the convertible than the coupes.

 

After years of working with wholesalers and retailers, the VIN number count has never played a role. Its just an identifier.

 

The first one and the last one. That's all that I have ever seen matter at an auction.
