Agreed. I think I was attempting to channel what many people call "harsh" or "jarring." I don't think it's overly harsh either, and I'm quite satisfied with the suspension, but I've always liked a firm ride.

However, I would never characterize it as bouncy.

My base coupe was "bouncy" when I picked it up, but then I realized the idiots at the dealership didn't adjust the tire pressure from the factory... each tire had 65 lbs of air when they should have had 36 lbs. Needless to say, the ride is much softer now. Stiff and firm as a sports car should be, but no longer "bouncy".

Basketballs, tennis, ping pong *****, and old Cadillac land yachts are "bouncy." This suspension is merely firm.

To me, "bouncy" means a suspension that's very soft.

I checked the pressure in my tires on Day 1 and they were all at 36lbs.

When I say bouncy, I mean I feel the base suspension has a tendency to jump around a bit on uneven roads and I understand the electronic dampers do a much better job of keeping the tires planted and the bounce to a minimum.

I am used to a firmer ride and was expecting a jarring ride based on what I've read but the car feels solid and really well connected , driver inputs are immediate and direct.

I've test driven both the V6 coupe and the V6S coupe. I felt they were comparable in city streets, but that the base model lacked a little 'oomph' in the 40-70mph range.
There is no scientific basis for my statement, but I would personally try my best to get into the S.

Honest Question: What is the effect of the following?

It'll make the in-gear acceleration feel a bit snappier.
