Yup sure did. Just didn't want to hear that you lost that fine ride you worked so hard for down in Mexico.

Anyone considering very high speeds on the F-Type, please be aware that unless you have an SVR with the rear active spoiler, the F-Type becomes very unstable after 170mph with the smallest road imperfection (like a bridge expansion gap). Be careful!

I hit a bridge expansion joint at around 100mph on a sweeping curve. The car hopped a bit, which was very unnerving in a bend. Lesson learned.

I always make a point of hitting those strips and significant bumps at speed with center steering input. Particularly important with a stiff suspension.

You need to be aware and predict the hop with a compensatory reduction of turning angle. Some gaps are radial and the difference between when the first wheel on the front axle and the second hit it may do nothing because the suspension can soak it up but if if both wheels hit it simultaneously the sway bar will not help you and the correction angle needs to be more.Do not touch the brakes as you will transfer weight off the rean and when the rear axle hits it you will have a far greater problem Smooth does it, neutral power transfer and slight wheel out correction.

For bridge expansion joints I meant going straight and allowing air under the car

262 kph (= 162.8 mph) on the german autobahn. But to be honest, it kinda stops being fun around 240 kph (= 150 mph) IMHO.

Default Not in a Jag but still fast

Found this forum when researching Jag models for reliability and driving reviews. Fastest I went was in my Acura swagonwagon. Hit the limiter at 140mph. On public roads. The car handled great. To be fair I knew the road and had a radar detector, but it was still a wild ride.

Car still pulling and I think it has more in it but you run out of room very fast at those speeds!!
1/4 mile = 119
1/2 mile = 147
Similar here but 2mph slower in both. Stock 2013 XF-RS. Ran Ennis Motorplex @ 117mph (1/4 mile) and Texas Mile (Beeville TX airport) @ 163.xx
