Default Anyone interested in a Wine and Craft Beer overnight trip to Santa Ynez/Solvang?

We had such a great turnout on Saturday with some awesome F Types and some pretty cool XKR's and XF's. Would anyone be interested in a one nighter in wine country Santa Ynez/Solvang area?

I was in Santa Ynez in April, and the LA Porsche Club was staying at my hotel - about 15 - 18 cars in total running around wine and beer country for two days. The guys I spoke to said they do it every year and it was a blast.

My thinking is that we get to the area by 10 AM on a Saturday, plan an itinerary that creates some great driving choices off the 101, and visit a couple of wineries and also some micro breweries. One of the wine guys I know up there (Brian Loring) drives a Caldera F Type S, so I am sure he would love to have us visit!

Timing: Best timing is late October.

Let me know if there is any interest and we can start to pull some details together.

Not much of a wine drinker, but craft beers, why not? Depending on date, love to go.

I'll have to see if a motorcycle trip in the Canary Islands pans out. It's enough of a drive that it'd be at least a 2-nighter for me, but a drive down the coast is rarely a hardship.

I used to live in Solvang and saw lots of cool cars come through there, including a Jaguar SS-100. Last time I was there, there was a cool motorcycle museum, just at the southern edge of downtown, in a sort of office complex. Some amazing historical bikes there. Not open regular hours so you have to call to make arrangements but well worth it.

Wish I could join you on the outing but I'm rather far away now. Was a great place to live and still a great place to visit.
