I finally got the Quicksilver exhaust installed on my R. I'd be happy to demo the exhaust to anyone also looking into the Quicksilver exhaust on the V8 models. I'm currently in the Los Angeles area (technically Inland Empire).

Most likely. There is a driving club by the name of "Malibu Autobahn." They hold monthly meet ups, including canyon driving of course. I've gone a couple of times and the turnouts are nice with a ride variety of cars, including quite a few f-types. They have a website where you can sign up and check out the photos of their meet ups!

 

The other f-Type forums in the US are very inactive.

 

Let's do this in a couple weeks, if possible. Or at least, again after a couple weeks. I won't be able to make it out until April 2nd most likely.

Hey I have the quicksilver as well on my v8s. Wondering if you had any fitments issues when installing

 

Did you install it yourself? I'm thinking of buying one and doing it myself on my V6 S. Different system of course, but just wondering.

 

My installer definitely complained about the fitment a bit. He said it was pretty low, for example, so he had to add spacers to the metal bar under the pipes (forgot what that was called).

Nevertheless, I have had no issues yet -- no extra rattling or anything.

 

I'm still down for Supercar Sunday tomorrow morning!
