Default Anyone try this P7 grill alternative?

Would still like to swap front grills if I could find a reasonable and good fitting P7 style grill. Anyone try this one from Ebay and have any feedback?

I didn't buy this exact one, but one similar to use the frame only. The grill mesh was a cheap plastic mesh with no depth. You should look through the grill update threads to get the part numbers for the grill mesh if you plan to do this

Correct. The current thinking is the E-Pace grill. I have the parts in hand and plan to do this over the winter. There are couple gotchas. The Parking sensors do not fit through the E-pace grill without modifying the grill as they are too wide for the vertical opening. My plan is to 3D print a part that makes the sensor close to flush and look like it should be there. I have the sensor modeled. I just need to model the grill which is proving to be complicated. The rest of fun is documented decently in a couple youtube videos.

one handy tip I found on my install is get rid of the bolts that come with the grill surround and put some studs in with Loctite. makes fitting, cutting and sizing of the grill much easier. Also keeps them from stripping out

I purchased this one on eBay a few months ago and I'm having it installed next week after my local body shop completes a repaint of my 2016 convertible front end and hood. Build quality is good and it's got the parking sensor holes as well. I'll follow up with photos and let everyone know if any issues.
