hmmm, hard to get a real sense of how well it works. I love Audis, the technology etc everything ... I do not like the tendency to understeer of their Quattro system as most of their cars are FWD biased. Sounds like the Jaguar system maintains the rear wheel drive bias and that the E-diff in the V8s is more reactive than the mechanical one in the 6s but the draw back is that the E-diff will over heat faster and just quit on you .... I guess this is one of the things you can read review after review about but you just need to go and test drive it ....

Evo went Ice Driving in one this month. Nissan GTR and AWD 911 also tested...

My Audi TT-RS had pretty heavy understeer which I didn't really like. The positive is that you could put the power on really early and usually straighten out of it. It will be interesting to test drive the AWD to feel the difference and it is nice that it has a rear bias but I still have the feeling I will prefer the RWD.

That said, I still don't drive hard in the canyons with traction control off. With it on, I've never felt like I was going to lose it.
