Default Backup/Reverse Camera Installation

Are there directions or DIY for installing an aftermarket reverse camera to the rear bumper, specifically around how to best route the wires from the license plate camera all the way to the center console where the Nav-TV unit resides?

I've been searching all morning, there's good diy's for hooking up the Nav TV, but nothing around how to best route the wires from the front and or rear facing cameras to each bumper. i'll only be doing the rear camera on my 2016 vert. Thanks!

Any luck with this? I have an aftermarket camera that has gone bad. It’s a NAV set up. Trying to figure out how to re-run the camera as I don’t think splicing a new one is possible.

Soon I'll be installing a Unique Auto CarPlay/Android Auto head unit in my 2016 F-Type S Convertible and, as my Jag did not come with the Vision Package, I'll be installing the Unique Auto Back-Up Camera as the new head unit will allow a camera to now be plugged in and used. I have been searching the forum for any tips for the 3rd party camera install with wire roughing tips, but sadly none found. I'm just wondering how to do the camera mount and get the wire from the truck area to the head unit.

This is their camera I'll be installing (with the 6-meter cable) ...

I would NOT order that camera (I did, to use in the front, and what I got didn't look like that AT ALL). You can get a much cheaper and cleaner install using what I bought to replace it:
Amazon Amazon

Installation is simple, provide it power and an RCA jack to the UAD unit, done! Put the DIP switches in the right position and it should work for your backup use. I have an OEM backup camera, and used the linked camera as a front looking camera. Here is my post on it: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...2/#post2569824.
