Default Bank 2 Sensor 3 - bought wrong part??

My oxygen sensor needs to be replaced, bank 2 sensor 3. 2016 F-Type R AWD. I did a ton of research on here and thought I bought the right part - Denso DE-C2D54167. But the auto shop just called and said the part is made for the passenger side and not the drivers side. Can anyone confirm what the part I actually need is?? I've attached a pic - on the left is what I need (apparently), on the right is what I bought.

If on the left, I believe you need T2R7732. The sensor you have is for the RWD R.

Ah that does look to be correct in terms of the picture I posted. Thanks! Just curious, @Unhingd how did you figure this out? I can't find any documentation online anywhere!

Hmm according to Denso's own site, the three compatible oxygen sensors for my exact car are:
Downstream Left - 234-4792
Downstream Right - 234-4794
Upstream - 234-5154

So the one I purchased was 'downstream right', is that Bank 2 Sensor 3 or no? Was I supposed to get the downstream left one?

I believe bank 2 is on the left of the V8 engine as well as the V6. I usually refer to the illustrations and descriptions available on most of the online OEM Jag parts sites.

Hm but does “downstream left” mean left from the perspective of sitting in the drivers seat? I'm confused because I've heard sometimes it's from the perspective of looking to the back of the car.

Always in my 5+ decades of working on cars,, the side of the car is determined from the driver's seat.

I see that this is an old post but since I'm having the same issue like to add, this is a "British car", Bank 1 is the driver side, that is the right side looking forward, bank 2 then is the left side. like to add for the folks looking for the sensor posting there is an NHTSA, reference SSM72477 and a Jaguar Technical Bulletin JTB00392NAS3 27 Jun 2016. My 2015 S coupe just reached 48,000 and has the P0055 and p0042 codes that are addressed in these reports.
I anyone has any dealership experience by addressing these with the dealer, please post. thanks
