Default Battery replacement - question for Lance!

I'm considering getting a new battery to replace my now 6.3 year old OEM AGM battery.
Zero battery or electrical problems as yet but lots of reports that at this age the battery could die overnight with zero warning even though I regularly put it on a trickle charger.
Being a skinflint and not worried too much about weight I am not considering a lithium battery and I'm not looking to spend approx $1,000 AU on one (yes, that is what they cost here).
The only direct replacement AGM battery with 850 CCA and 90 Ah I can find in Oz is the Varta G14, but they are all $599 a pop, still excessive IHMO.
With some searching I have come across this Hyundai battery at a mere $149, supposedly marked down from $849: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HYUNDAI-...cAAOSwjmFfqjR-
"Only" 70 Ah and 760 CCA and they can't make up their mind if it is Lithium or Calcium or "normal" lead acid AGM, but even though it is the wrong size I am sure I could make it fit or a least tie it down securely.
So waddyareckon Lance, worth a punt at that price or not?

You're driving a very expensive car and you want to skimp on the one thing that could turn your ownership experience into a nightmare?

It's only an emergency backup in case my OEM battery goes **** up, it seems as though it would do the job, and at that price it would be a real bargain.
In the meantime I have found a cheaper option than the Varta but still 850 CCA and 92 Ah and OEM size, see here: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/car-batt...QAAOSw28Bc1Ru6

The 70 Ah doesn't bother me as I am using a 30Ah lithium (50 Ah Pb equivalent) and have not had any issue. You just have to be vigilant about not leaving the ignition on without running the engine, and make certain you don,t leave doors or the hatch open too often before starting the engine up again. However, I can't speak to the 750 CCA as mine is rated at 1200 CCA . Isuspect, though, that it would be adequate if there are no underlying engine issues. Perfect for an inexpensive standby battery, though.

Oz. Does it ever get really really cold where you are (below freezing)? If not CCA is probably not as important to you as in locations that do get that cold.

Also if it is that cold and you are driving on high performance summer tires they are going to be very slippery.

Would it be feasible in terms of shipping costs to buy elsewhere and ship to Australia.

The Varta G14 us available for £159 including 20% VAT but excluding carriage would be £142 with VAT (tax) which is Au $251

It almost never gets below freezing where I am, I have only once in my life seen a negative temp and that was -1C early one morning on SWMBO'ed driveway about six months ago.
So the same with tyres, my MPS4S have never become slippery due to cold and I have never needed let alone fitted all-season tyres.
I feel a little sorry for you blokes in cold climates like Canada, northern US and UK having to drive through snow and faff about with winter tyres!

I have already made enquiries to OS sellers of the G14 and either they don't ship to Oz at all or if they do it costs a bundle, more than the battery itself, which is why I gave up on that idea. One of the bonuses of the cheapy I linked to is free shipping!

For some reason my 2017 SVR came with a Jag branded H7A battery (dealer replacement due to the battery drain issue) which is smaller than the usual one. Rated at 800CCA and 80 AH. I've not had any issues with that to start and run it

Never freezing much here, usually late at night. But we have the extreme summer heat that used to destroy batteries in th '70's and '80's. First there were " desert spec" and now it is not a problem. Probably why my battery is still good. But the start-stop battery failed multiple times.

Update.
I bought the linked battery a couple of days after my original post, as I figured it was going for a helluva bargain at $149 AU - supposedly $800 normally, it was advertised as the last one in stock and even if it was no good I had only wasted $149.
So today, after some time to recover from my little vacation in hospital, I heaved it up onto my garage bench (very naughty of me as I am not supposed to lift heavy weights for a few months yet) and connected my battery tender/charger to it.
I should have tested it first but I forgot that bit!
The tender took about six hours to run through all seven steps to "maintain" and got very hot, so I thought either the battery was a bit flat to start with or there was something wrong with it.
Once the final step was complete I connected my battery tester and bingo, a perfectly healthy battery! 98% charged and 775 CCA even though it's only rated at 760 CCA.
The terminals are the correct size shape and orientation too so it should slot in perfectly, win win!

Had my battery replaced 2 months ago after 4 years of ownership. Though I always switch off the ECO Stop/Start right after I switch on the engine, but that day I forgot to and realize that the ECO function was disable. Back to my workshop and found out the original battery had 62% of power left only, without hesitation I ordered a new battery and use the trickle charger to charge the new battery to full before installation.
