Default Blank Navigation Screen

Hello,

Well I've driven my 2016 F-Type R for two days now and have seen a couple of "gremlins" at work.

First the check engine light came on.....As I am a couple of hours from the nearest dealership I just checked and reset it myself. (It was a fuel error)

Now when I got in it tonight the navigation map is blank. The screen itself is OK as all the features around the edges are there (just no map)

The only thing I have done to it since the last time I drove it was to connect the In Control. Could that have done anything to it?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

OHHHH....NOOOO! The blue screen of death. (Thank you, Bill Gates) Time to reboot. Pull the negative terminal off the battery for at least 10 seconds.

Default Fixed

So, as suggested I pulled the battery lead and then reconnected.
And now I have maps again....

I hope this isn't a sign of things to come (Because the car is a BLAST to drive)

every so often, you'll need to reboot your car. No biggie.

That happened to me exactly once, in the first couple of weeks I had my car. It may or may not be related, but when I purchased it, the battery was dead on the showroom floor. I did what you did to restore the map display and have kept it charged since. I've neither had that problem, nor any other problem in the 2 years since.
