Lol it really does look like a fish 😂😂😂
I kinda like it though... maybe... It's hard to tell. I suspect it's like the db11, gotta see it in person to know how you feel about it.

Here are some spy pics and such

I think the rumored price of 150K EUROS (so about 180,000 in USD as of today's currency rates) will "extinguish" these from consideration for most of us.

Love the color but as with really any car - and even our cars which are best viewed in person as pictures do not do it justice - I would need to see it in person. And, then, test drive it. ONLY way to know for sure (and even a short test drive might not tell you everything you'd want to know).

ALL those sharp angles on the Bimmer could be a deal-killer for me, not to mention the $180,000 sticker.

The car looks about as nice as new Civic Type R. This is worse than Bangle years.

Lower front bumper design is just off.

A price tag of $180,000 would indeed remove it from consideration... certainly from competition with the F-Type. But that's not the rumored price.

All indications are that the base coupe w/V6 will start at or just under 100K in the US. (Main competitor: the Lexus LC500.)

The M8 version (4.4 liter twin turbo V8) will probably cost around $135,000. Not cheap, but a far cry from $180,000.

"Looks like a fish"... where are you getting that? Certainly an attractive car, perhaps short of beautiful, perhaps a bit bland, but preferable by far to the odd, almost extraterrestrial LC500 (those designers at Lexus were trying way too hard). And not in the same league, esthetically speaking, as the F-Type. But then nothing is.

I have seen a fish that looks just like this. Unsure what kind... maybe a shark? Either way it's very hideous in my eyes. That being said I also found the LC500 was far from pretty.

cool looking autobahn bomber but they never will have the presence of an F Type. The production car will likely be dumbed down a bit also..

I can see how it looks like a fish.

Anyway for a price price somewhere between 100,000 and 180,000 USD I can think of a number of superior options.

Aston Martin v8 vantage
last year's Audi R8 (top of the above range)
viper
z06 or the incoming zr1
amg gts

Hey, you have my support. I think it looks awesome, but the price is the problem for me.

I prefer the first gen 8-Series; almost bought one myself. But for ~$180K, I can think of other cars that I would rather have.
