Greetings!

I am new to the F-Type forum but have been on the XK forum for 5 years. I've been shopping for a while now and bought a 2016 F-Type S coupe yesterday. I look forward to following and contributing to this forum. Better pics coming soon...these are just a few quick photos snapped on my first drive. I have a lot of fun with my cars and look forward to driving the F-Type. I added a photo of my XK on the track at VIR. Can't wait to get the F-Type out there!

Nice, completely different cars but personally I preferred the throbby note of the 4.2 you have to the raspy 5 litre, or the 6 for that matter. i had the 4.2 in an XF with a paramount back end, it was the best sounding car I've owned by far.

I can understand why you'd want to keep the XK (I had considered keeping the XKR) but you might find as I did that while the f Type has some shortcomings against the XK (mainly ride, interior space, and getting in and out), within a few weeks the fun factor overrides them.
