Brake pad wear - even outside and inside pads?
Do the inner and outer brake pads on the F-type usually wear evenly?
I took a closer look at my brake pads the other day by checking the thickness of the outer pads. They still were pretty thick but knowing how the pads wear on the XF I'm not sure if this can be trusted. I remember from both my past XFs that the inner pads often wore out much quicker and the inner pad could be close to the limit even if the outer one still had lots of meat.
In case it differs between the different brake systems I have the big "super high performance" 376/380 mm non ceramic brakes.

The inner pads wear about twice as fast as the outer pads.
Same with rotor wear.
Coz it's a floating caliper brake system where the brake pistons bear directly on the inner pads which then "pull" the outer pads onto the rotors.

Thanks Kim, crystal clear.
Just had the car serviced today and they didn't say anything about the pads which also feels like a pretty good indicator of that there's a fair bit of meat left in them considering how early the dealers tend to recommend changing the pads. :P
