Don't know anything about it but it looks like an SVR judging from the quilted seats and rear spoiler and the airbags have deployed so the fire was probably a result of a head on prang.

The car was clearly in an accident - look at the left rear wheel, bent outward at about 35 degrees. It's off in the weeds, and very likely crushed the front end, spraying fuel onto the hot exhaust. Definitely cannot make any sweeping statement about Jag reliability in such a case, as that could happen to any make.
