I'm on the Atlantic Cartier as well. I didn't realize it stopped in ny on the 27th, I assume my car will be unloaded there?

My car spent over a month in a port recall. It was frustrating to check everyday and see it stuck. I had to complain all the way up to regional manager of JLR to get the car moving.

I would assume so. You should have your car within 10 days thereafter unless there is a port recall. However, that issue only seems to affect the first of any given model (e.g. the first AWD models). My 6 speed may also be held up in port as it will be one of the first shipped in.

Thanks. Wish there was some way to track it from the port to the dealer. Good thing is it only has to go about 30 miles.

My dealer is about the same distance from the Baltimore Harbor. Keep your eye on the Marinetraffic site tomorrow. The Atlantic Cartier was actually tracked off the coast of Ireland last Friday when it went out of range of the AIS stations, so it is more than half way across the Atlantic by now and scheduled to arrive in Halifax on Thursday morning. It should be within tracking range some time tomorrow.

Sounds like the ship made a stop in ny and it was unloaded there?

Jarod,
The Atlantic Cartier is now showing off the coast of Nova Scotia: Live Ships Map - AIS - Vessel Traffic and Positions - AIS Marine Traffic

There might be.

Two cars ago I was expecting a Mercedes SLK55 AMG from Bremerhaven. Somehow—frankly I don't remember how (this was about 8 years ago)—I found out that Mercedes always used a certain trucking company. I contacted that company's home office and explained that I wanted to know where my car w/VIN was. They actually gave me the phone number of the driver who gave me his ETA at the dealership. I then informed the dealership (they were mystified) because I wanted a 1-day dealer prep.

Anyone know what trucking company Jaguar uses?

My build date has been moved up to July 11 ("week ending" I presume).

I'll just ask my dealer's GM who the usual trucking firm is.

Will do, if successful. However, might be different carriers for different destinations.

I just got my VIN. Is it the Customer Reference Number on that site?

So far no records found. Maybe too soon.

Ship is in NYC now. No way of knowing if it gets unloaded here or in Baltimore or when it will come to the dealer I guess? Does the dealer or jag USA get that info?

Jarod,
The boat is located right next to Newark Airport on the other side and viewable from I-95. You going to drive by and take a look?
Also, the Wallenius site will tell you what your port of discharge is:https://www.2wglobal.com/webapps?url...uickSearchPage

The ship has arrived in Baltimore. Guess there is no way of knowing whether is was offloaded in New York or Baltimore and I have no way of telling when it will get to the dealer.

The WW Web site will tell you which port your car was discharged at. Put your VIN in the Cargo Id box to see the info relevant to your car.
