Can't wash ceramic coating for 7 days

Default Can't wash ceramic coating for 7 days

So got my car ceramic coated last friday, what a job, unreal finish. Picked up the car and it was a lovely day, drove around 100 miles home and there was a bit of dust and salt from the bad weather on it so just gave it a rinse with water, all good. It has been dry for the last few days, now i've around 250 miles done but the dust is real bad on it. So i can't wash it the detailer said till saturday so i gave it another rinse this evening. The droplets run off nice but some dried off leaving dots of dust like white spots, rinsed a few times, but i would say it is the fact that i cant was it properly i get these , how annoying, i should have left it alone, heavy rain forecast for tomorrow so should wash it of , can't wait to give it a proper wash and dry

I've been using a silicone spray which is used over the ceramic coatings and I find it attracts dust like nothing else. I dont know whether it is static from the microfibre cloths or the product itself. It still looks awesome underneath, but you can see the dust layer.

What product was used on yours? And pics please...

Bruce went for Gyeon Quartz Q2 MOHS+ 5 Year Protection Package, did interior, glass, wheels everything. Excuse camera pics, not great quality.

My wife's 2017 Mini Cooper S was ceramic coated last fall as it sits outside and I went to wash it the other day and it had water spots after I dried it with micro fibre cloths as I always do (it's dark blue so it really shows spots). I had the ceramic coat done specifically to try and avoid extra work like this but after some internet research I found this is not at all uncommon with ceramic coatings. I ordered this stuff called CarPro Spotless Water Spot and Mineral Remover which is designed to work with ceramic coatings. It arrives tomorrow so hopefully we'll be spot free this weekend.
