My car is suppose to reach Manzanillo, Panama on 4/3/2015. The next day it heads off to Port Hueneme, Ca. arriving 4/12/2015. After unloading my car and maybe others, it heads off to Tacoma, Wa. Not to long now. Anyone one here waiting in Washington state? Cecil..........

Mine's headed to the East Coast. Should be unloaded at port on 4/10. (Then shipped off to Dallas.) We should both be receiving our precious cargo around the same time.

Mine left yesterday on the Atlantic Companion - should arrive in Baltimore around 4/9 - hopefully be at dealership a week or so later.

Keep in mind guys if you ordered an AWD that they are holding them in port till late April. Don't expect to see your car until May 1st. Especially since there is a backlog of our cars waiting to be released.

My expected delivery to dealer still shows as 4/24. (not that I believe my dealer but...) I was assured there is only a software update that needs to be done, and that takes place at port. I assume the holds may have been partly due to the fact that the current incentives from JLR expire on 3/31, AND the new Fiscal quarter starts on 4/1.

I've been following my car since it left port in England and it has been right on schedule with all its stops. It is to be in Ca. port 4-12. Do you think they will hold it there for some time before sending it on to the dealership? Cecil.........

It will need to clear customs, and they will perform a software update before shipping it off to the local dealer. (Still hoping they aren't holding them!)

My estimated delivery still says 3/28... I was told it was a software update by my dealer and a government certification by Jaguar North America. These could be one in the same or they could both be bull$#!%.. A software update is all well and good, but if the software hasn't been developed and validated yet it could take some time. Depending on the software in question, validation could take upwards of two weeks. Even if it was a simple software update, we still might not see the cars for 3-4 weeks.

As for the incentives/fiscal quarter... 2016 RWD models have already hit dealerships, so I find that very unlikely. If it was based on that they would have held all models, not just AWD...

Yup, it had originally been 3/20 before being pushed back on 3/16.

The old incentive and discounts expiring 3/31 specifically excluded the MY16. Has anyone heard of any post-4/1 incentives or discounts?

My car has left Panama and headed to PORT HUENEME in California. Suppose to be there 4/12. Hopefully not to long after that it will be at my dealer. Curious to see if any of you other Ca. guys have something coming off the ship too. Where is that rebate when you need it. Cecil...........

My ship is scheduled to arrive in Halifax on 4/6 - then it's off to NY on 4/8, with its final destination in Baltimore on 4/9.

The dealer recently informed me that scheduled delivery was 4/17

I'm cautiously optimistic that I'll see my car by the weekend of the 18th.

...fingers crossed

My dealer also informed me of a 4/17 arrival date for my car. Original estimate was mid May. If the car actually arrived in Post Hueneme on 4/12 that would be about right as far as deliver since my dealership is only about an hour from the port.

Keeping my fingers crossed he is correct already planing a road trip for Saturday the 18th.

My car has been unloaded at port and next stop is my dealer in Monterey, Ca. I don't know about any other cars being unloaded at the same time. The ship is now on its way to Washington state. Cecil.............

Cecil,

Mine was unloaded (in Brunswick, GA) on Saturday. Next stop is the dealer in Dallas. Looks like we'll be getting them around the same date. I don't plan on seeing you around here much (of course I won't be here to look) as we'll be out breaking in the beasts!

Keep your fingers crossed but don't be surprised if that doesn't happen. Mine has been sitting in the port since 3/2 and has not shipped yet. I'm sure there is some backup going on.
