I have one on my Mustang so I'll chip in. I got it because the standard mustang wheel is thin and big, reminds me of a bus steering wheel. The replacement is nice and thick with some leather at the sides where your hands go, and cf top and bottom (flat bottom).
Looks 10/10. Extra thickness is also great, so also 10/10. But the cf doesnt feel great at all, it feels glassy and hard, and I much prefer leather, so I'll give it 5/10 for that. I'm probably reminded of my youth, where steering wheels were usually plastic or rubbery, and I always liked a leather wrapped wheel. Not that I put my hands on the cf parts that much, but really I think the stock F Type wheel for the 2016/7MY is lovely to hold. Functionality, flat bottom isnt as good as a round wheel IMO not that I ever turn it around fully except when parking, so I'll give it 8/10 for that. It isnt as though your hand slips on the glossy cf bits. So in the case of the Mustang, the cf wheel was an improvement. Personally I like the OEM F type wheel and think the cf wheel would be a step down, but only because of my aversion to hard wheels mentioned above.
I have had four carbon fiber steering wheels on three different cars.
Two of the wheels have been in matte finish carbon fiber and two in gloss carbon fiber.
My ’23 P450 F-Type presently has a gloss finish CF / Black leather with red stitching.
With gloss CF center console trim.
For a few months it had a matte CF / black Alcantara wheel.
With matte CF console trim.
I like the appearance and feel of the CF wheels as well as the thicker wheel and the finger grooves.
I especially like the feel of the matte CF with Alcantara, but the current gloss CF / black leather looks better IMO given the F-Type interior.
My MB still has a matte CF / black Alcantara wheel that goes well with the black Alcantara in the seats. gloss CF before center console CF trim. matte CF before center console CF trim

Yes that does look good. The gloss one is what I have in the mustang, although it has orange highlights instead of red, and there is some perforation in the leather. The stripe at the top was mega distracting when I first had the wheel on (I sit quite low) but within a short time I stopped noticing it.
