For those of you who were following my previous thread on the Carputech Carplay System, here are the final results:
After receiving the unit initially, the wiring harness they sent was too short. After seeing my post here, they did send me the correct Harness that was the right length.about 10-12 days later.
Upon installing the system I ran into problems with buttons not working, no sound at times an minor other things.
Now I will say once I contacted their support team, they were excellent about reaching out and trying different things and this was done even by Video Chat so they could see what I was seeing.
After spending over 2 hours working with their support team I gave up and requested a Postage Paid Return Label to return the unit along with a full refund. I received the label via E-mail within a few hours, packed the system up and sent it back.
Now I'm not saying it won't work for you, but's it's your decision to give them a try or not especially if you have a different model or year.
