I did my own cleaning and ceramic polish on my 2021 R-Dynamic.
No need for paint correction.
Car looked amazing while in the garage.
Next day went for a drive and came back covered in pollen.
The shinier the car is, the more it shows any minute amount of dust.
Almost seems like a dust magnet!!

I'm sure you're right and I'll be forever washing it now! I had to get paint correction - I bought it a few months back second hand (it's 5 years old) and the previous owner hadn't really looked after it. Lots of contamination that I couldn't polish out. Loads of little surface scuffs. All sorted now!

Depends on your goals and color of the car. Silver or Gray, you can get away without it. Black car - must have.

Yes, my crimson Jeep and silver Audi get run througha regular "touchless" car wash every few months.
The Jag demands to be hand cleaned every couple of weeks at most.

I found that the silicone based products (which I was buffing with microfibre cloths) would generate a lot of static which then attracts dust. The car would still be shiny, but it would be covered in dust very quickly - like the day after washing.

The wax based products I use now (also buffed with microfibre, though I am using wipe on wipe off stuff these days) dont generate the static, and the car seems to repel dust (well probably it is normal, but I was used to it attracting dust so it seems like the opposite is happening). I get a month between washes.

Now it might be that the static was caused by the buffing, or it could have been the silicone, or both, but what I would do is look for something that is more wipe on wipe off as a finishing wax. I wouldnt use silicone based because you really shouldnt be breathing it in. I dont want to keep plugging Polish Angel, but I use their "Rapidwaxxx" with absolutely fantastic results https://www.polishangel.us/products/...seur-rapidwaxx

Agreed. Took the wife's F Pace to get paint correction and ceramic coating 3 days after delivery. Still a fair amount of orange peel on factory paint that was tended to.
