Default Chargecooler system

Hi all, i have a question how the original chargecooling system prevents that it is not mixed with the hot engine cooling water.
As i understand there is a connection between the two radiators to fill the two systems over the sharing expansion tank.
Thanks a lot.
Harald.

If you are truly interested in knowing/learning about this, read through the attached PDF. Explains the whole system (Best I can understand your question anyway?).

Yes here is how Jaguar describes the two systems. I think it's from what therock88 posted.

^^^ This brings to mind a question:

Are there any steps to take when replacing coolant, that would ensure that the intercooler coolant would be refreshed?

Our other sports car's liquid-to-air intercoolers are similar in that they are only connected enough to accommodate thermal expansion...and replacing that coolant needs to be done separately. Many owners forget to change the additional system.
